The concept dish specialty of Ayam Penyet was first established in Singapore 2005 under different flagship. After much hardwork and support from loyal customers and friends, eventually in 2008 the brand Dapur Penyet was launched independently.
In Singapore, total number outlets have expanded to few locations such as Clementi Mall, Ang Mo Kio Hub, Tiong Bahru Plaza, Lot One Mall, City Square Serangoon, City Plaza Paya Lebar, National University Hospital, Baghdad Streeet and the latest opening in Centre Point Mall in the heart town of Orchard Road. Time Newspapers, Talk Show and few media write ups. And due to our genuine and real taste of Indonesian cuisine, many of our customers are Indonesian who are on holiday and live ther, as wel as expatriates from all over the world as we have variety of dishes to choose from that suit to the taste bud. the dish has become so popular that it has spread to many places and become like one of the local dish.
In 2010, Dapur Penyet has spread its wings to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Having started the 1st outlet in Jl. Sultan Ismail in Maju Junction Mall, it has now expanded to places in Kota Damansara, Wangsamaju,Cheras, Cyberjaya, Ampang, Seremban, Selayang Mall, Shah Alam, 101 Mall Putrajaya and the latest opening in the heart of town of Jl. Bukit Bintang. The planning in progress soon to establish in other states in Penang, Perak, Melaka, Sabah and Serawak too. The Same support and accepted by the loyal customers there who have the same taste bud to our real and original taste which have captured the attention of the media such as Berita Harian, Metro News, Sunday Times as well as local TV3 Program of ‘Jalan Jalan Cari Makan’.
In 2012, the 1st anchor outlet was officially opened in Jakarta in ITC Roxy Mas, with uptodate hasexpanded to Plaza Semanggi, Mall Artha Gading, Mall Kelapa Gading, Tanah Abang Blok A, Kalibata City, Aeon BSD City, Mall Ambassador, PGC Cililitan, ITC Cempaka Mas, Supermall Karawaci, Atrium Senen with further expansions through Franchising is in the plan. The brand that is renamed to D’PENYETZ (for Indonesian) expanded its wings starting in 2014 to Makassar, Medan, Pontianak, Manado, Singkawang and other cities in the pipeline to come. Local Indonesia media converage has featured in media like Nova Tabloid, KOMPAS TV, Kontan Tabloid etc. This support has made us to be more attentive and raise our commitment to serve to all range of customers for a long term relationship and culinary satisfaction.
With the huge support and success in Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia, in 2013 Dapur Penyet established its 1st presence in BRUNEI DARUSALLAM with the 1st outlet in Bandar Sri Begawan. And in 1 year, it has since expanded from Delima to Gadong and Seri Qiulap Mall. We are so honored to have many royal families who frequent dine in our restaurant ther. And the next country expansion next will be to Myanmar (Yangon City).
We always continuously keep striving to upgrade, R & D, market research in order to stay competitive and fullfill our commitment to serve our culinary customers well.
